Male - Black head, red torso, yellowish tail.
Female - standard boring gray color
Sorry I cant give temps etc. These were spotted on my lunch hour while driving north out of Ajo on Hwy 85 so I didnt have my instruments with me. (Guess I should start carrying them!). I had to use my cellphone to photograph him.
The male was doing the head bobbing routine. He let me get within about three or four feet of him. I noticed his tail had been injured earlier in life as it was deformed (possibly run over as a youngster? as he lives right next to the highway!)
