Winfield found this snake cruising a sunny area along our property line as he was mowing. Our property is surburban housing one block from fairly extensive meadow/woods/light industrial.
The snake appeared to have two smallish prey items in its digestive tract. We have seen several toads in our yard recently and have a couple of wood/brush piles where toads, frogs, and the occassional snake take refuge.
