Notes
I found this same snake in this same location on June 3rd, 2009. Then as now it was opaque. I originally found this individual in May of 2007 in the same side canyon, but a bit lower in elevation. I arrived just as the sun started shinning on the ground in front of the snake. I waited for the snake to emerge from underneath, but it never did while I was there. Instead it moved to the edge of the granite overhang and just sunned various parts of it's body while remaining beneath the boulder.
