Notes

First vouchered records for the county and the state in our database. Species of special concern due to habitat loss. Been searching for these for a few years. This was an accidental discovery as I had stopped for a redbellied turtle on the shoulder of the road when I heard the cricket frogs. Bull, green and Northern gray treefrogs are also here.

Even though I was physically closer to the cricket frogs, those gray treefrogs steal the show in the recordings.

UPDATE: 6-10 revisit and recorded stronger calls without background noise.

Kyle you should include year with your dates and type out month, so there is no confussion 100 years from now.

Not sure when the last record was made. Going to check with a local naturalist who has conducted surveys. He probabaly knows about this population. 6-10, State Fish and boat contacted my about the record and wanted specifics.

Nice. How many historic records are there for Bucks County?
