I had just caught a wandering garter http://www.naherp.com/viewrecord.php?r_id=48330 and was repositioning the rocks around it for a better picture when about 3 feet away I saw this boa's tail as it was going into a hole into the rock pile. I was able to barely grab a hold of it before it could disappear.
