Notes
The 4th picture shows the male boa on the rock slab under which it was found. 15 1/2" total length and 2 1/8" tail length. Richard Hoyer took scale counts and measurements as part of his ongoing rubber boa study. It was released where it was temporarily captured. According to Richard Hoyer and based mtDNA data, the dwarf rubber boas in this area are the Northern Rubber Boa (C. bottae).
