Pretty hot day, mid to high 90's fahrenheit. Wasn't having much luck flipping in a local state park. Luckily enough I found an old rotting log with this guy under it. He started burrowing deeper into some dark soil once I exposed him. The color similarity between his color and the soil was unreal. Thought the green moss would show off his beautiful dark color.
