ID by consensus of people at FHF. May be western sub-species, but I'm not confident of ID at subspecies level. No other specimens seen in lake appeared to be this species, but it would not surprise me if there were more. Geo-reference is of part of lake where specimen was swimming.

This is definitely a Western painted turtle...I am confident of that, having seen almost 1,000 of them. None of the others have any lines on top of their shell.
