Individual was discovered inside a rotted log. Log broke when attempting to roll it over.
This population is part of a broad area of integration between edwardsi and puntatus. Individuals can demonstrate traits of either subspecies at the same time or key out to the one subspecies or the other, all within the same geographic area.
