Notes
On the eastbound I-10 just west of the Verrado Rd offramp in Buckeye AZ I observed this snake on the inside shoulder. Apparently it was waiting for traffic to clear just enough so that it could make a mad dash across two lanes of rush hour traffic to reach the other side of the freeway. It made it. All within about 2 seconds of open space. OK, I'm anthropomorphizing on the waiting for traffic to clear part,it was a full grown adult (at least 5 feet long) so I think it may have made this trek before and learned the pattern?
I was in my work truck traveling at about 60 mph so obviously no voucher photo taken.
