Young Boas are very common here in the right season; Matures when night, road cruising are a little less common.
Unlike the far western Mexican Boas, that remain defensive or, at the least, untrustworthy to handle, all Yucatan region Boas we found immediately became docile after the first gentle handling. My son admired this one for the morning before letting it go where found.
