Notes
This Copperhead was found when I turned over a log. The location was within 50 feet of a vernal pool and in an area that experiences seasonal flooding. Numerous other reptiles and amphibians could be found in the area, most interestingly, Smallmouth Salamanders. Prior to development, this location yielded the following: Ringneck Snakes, Western Ribbon Snakes, Texas Brown Snakes, PlainBellied Water Snakes, and Yellow Belly Racers. See other documentation on NAHERP.
