Notes
This animal was observed under natural cover in the Santa Monica Mountains approx 1 mile from the coastline. It was found along with several Plestiodon skiltonianus. This animal is currently listed as being absent from the Santa Monica Mountains. If others have observed gilberti in the Santa Monica Mountains, please advise.
