Notes
Second attempt on getting a photo voucher on this animal. Observed 2/12/11 as well. Got within 30 feet when first observed. Animal extremely skittish. Second attempt made on 2/13/11. Again, animal dove once spotted. Waited approx 30 min, then animal made a move and photo voucher was made. As far as I know, this is the first native Actinemys species recorded in this drainage in several years.
