I agree range map for uniparens does not include the range were this was found. must be velox. thanks for catching. will get better pics next time. changed record accordingly

Not an expert but that would be a range extension, and if you get a positive ID, have it written up in Herp Review.. Check this link out

It's hard for me to tell from those pics..

The website above is a little more detailed then Stebbins, maybe with that website and higher resolution pics you can figure find out for sure..

They resemble each other so much too. vent scales might be kinda angular what do you think?

I'm no expert either. I thought in was velox at first . according to stebbins 3 rounded scales in front of vent? velox is angular? found just north of hualapais

Hi Justin, That looks like a Plateau Striped Whiptail Aspidoscelis velox?

Though I am not an expert on Whiptails, the uniparens only occurs in a small area of Mohave county.. thoughts?
