I usually find 1-2 dead ones once the water is near or completely dry. I've only seen two live ones there the whole time I've known about this place but the tadpoles keep on coming in droves although there was only one albino this year. I wonder if the females mate to death since it seems like this is a very isolated population with very few frogs but very many eggs and tadpoles? Just a guess.
Interesting that you found 2 like that, I wonder if thats normal of if there is something else going on with them.. Important entries, way to go..
