Thanks for comment, and taking the time to talk with me about this.. Keep the cool entries coming. I can remove comments from here if you want?
Thanks Brian, that's good to hear. Been on FHF for six years, but unfortunately haven't been active in a long time. Hopefully time can allow for it soon.
Thanks again, I apologize if I came across as confrontational.
Thanks Jacob, Many Academic institutions are now accepting photo vouchers.. And I think we can make the grade, to being highly reputable...:) We have discussions on these topics in the main forum, I hope to see you there. Love the picture BTW..
Alright, I changed it. However, I don't believe that a photo voucher database open to the public will ever be as widely accepted as an academic institution. No samples = no DNA...which is what they live for, you know? I do enjoy it, and trust a lot of what people input. It's definitely a helpful tool.
Hi Jacob, I am not trying to be ridiculous. It was decided by NAFHA for a couple of reasons that the qty field is for whats vouchered. One reason is we want our records to be like university and museum records, for credibility. The second reason is we are doing counts
of vouchered herps, and were not able to do that if counts are correct. You could add that you saw another one in the notes field. Thanks Jacob...
I saw two (an adult and a yoy) and only photographed one, that would completely contradict the purpose of this database. Not that this is an uncommon animal and I probably could have seen 40 this night, but it's a bit of a ridiculous plea.
Hi Jacob, Very Cool entery. Can you add the other picture or change the qty to 1?
