Notes

I have the photo of this lizard labeled as A. exanguis. However, I do not recall and can not find in my notes what I based that ID on. This animal is from the Black Range and A. sonorae and A. flagellicauda are both possibilities there. The lizard appears to be less heavily spotted than typical exanguis I'm used to seeing from around Albuquerque, but that character varies with locality and age. The photograph was taken in captivity, which means I did have the animal in hand to check distinguishing characteristics, so I'm going with exanguis, but I'm open to suggestions.
