Notes
This pond is normally connected to Sacramento River only by a large pipe that goes underneath a paved walking/bike trail. However, due to heavy rains on and off for several weeks, the pond was flooded and surface was connected to Sacramento River.
Second photo is different turtle than first, slightly different place in pond.
