Notes
Found by my neighbor Bill Sullivan while he was on Grapevine Canyon Road, three miles northwest of Highway 78, in Grapevine Canyon between Grapevine Mountain and Pinyon Ridge. It is also northwest of Yaqui Well,
Seen crossing the road He moved away as soon as I arrived in my car. He halted under a dead subshrub that I couldn't identify, with only the last 6 or 8 inches of his rear end exposed. Seen at 1 in the afternoon.
