Notes
We found this injured coachwhip on the side of the road, coiled up as if it was comfortable and basking. From what we can tell, I had not been hit by a car, but rather had been attacked by a bird, cat or other predator. It was quite weak and we moved it off the road under a nearby creosote bush. She might just pull through, hard to say.
