Walking around a wash that runs through my Pioneertown, CA. land, I came upon these two Horned Lizards mating. He ran a short distance in one direction & she also ran just a short distance in the other direction. They stopped & I was able to get good shots of both of them.

They look more like Phrynosoma blainvillii to me.
