Carlsbad Area... Habitat was completely bulldozed, before replanting with Sage. This is unacceptable. Habitat of our native species needs better management than this and other methods looked at besides complete bulldozing before replanting of sage. ALL snakes were buried alive, thus killing them, during this replanting. Many snakes of many species were found in this appox 50 acres of habitat.
Snakes like this clean striper that has a very clean stripe.
