Notes
"Rusty". Snake was found at the den where it spent last winter, but it was on the crawl. Followed the snake as it crawled away from den. Almost two hours later the snake finally stopped and assumed an ambush coil beneath a small salt bush where the photograph was taken. The ambush site was located 91 meters south of the den, but the snake did not crawl there in a straight line, instead moving in more of an L shaped path from the den to the ambush site. GPS coordinates are for the ambush site.
