Notes
Hybrid zone for americanus x fowleri. Known hybrid population.
Visited site previously on 20-Apr. See record #76369, first toad pictured is a recapture. Toads pictured were not observed calling, but suspected hybrids.
2 chorus (NAAMP) of "fowleri"-like calls and 1 hybrid call. See record #77444.
Also heard calling (not all present in voucher):
Hyla versicolor (Record #77062)
Acris crepitans (Record #76884)
Pseudacris crucifer (Record #77063)
Lithobates clamitans (1 individual)
Comments
I split this up into 2 records.
Why do you think these are "fowleri" like, and not actually Fowler's Toads?
