Agreed, this is S. magister. No bars on forelimbs, but also has that purplish dorsal stripe. Likely a sub-adult male.

Doesn't look like any magister I ve seen.... Not sure now, I ll send it to an expert..
looks like a magister to me. no bars on front legs. imho.
