Notes
One of my most exciting records. A small chorus of peepers heard in the corner of a flooded field on private property. Central Kane County, few minutes walk from the house I grew up in. Incidentally, 20+ years ago in a small nearby floodplain I would hear massive choruses of peepers in March/April. Construction dried this area up and the frogs disappeared in a matter of only a couple years. Until this, I had not heard peepers within 20 miles. I have to wonder how large this chorus may had been a few weeks earlier.
