Found in an empty trash barrel near the storage area in the front of the park.

good question. I work at the park, and maintain a collection of herps for visitors to see in our nature center. I regularly trade them out when I find new specimens, so the only pic I had of this coral snake was after I had put it in the cage.
why is it in captivity(second photo) if it was discovered in a park?
