In this case the voucher quality of the record isn't good but it is better than a record with no voucher at all. At least you can kinda see the habitat and sort of make out a snake in the water.

It's a watersnake. I get what I can. Try herping with 3-6 kids. If I crop that, you're gonna see a blurry-looking snake close up. It's not like I'm trying to tell you its a queen in a new county.

*if they suck, they suck. That's what happens. People still put in anecdotal records, so what's the problem with crappy pictures? you know if I get my hands on an animal, my pictures are STELLAR! :P

Dude, the voucher quality on some of these records sucks. I think for most it can be greatly improved if you crop the photos so the herp takes up most of the picture. Remember that we cant zoom in on these photos, and when they are uploaded photo quality is lost.
