Notes
These Iguanas were sitting on the tops of dead trees in this swampy plot of land in an industrial park area north of the large city of Villahermosa. I believe they were waiting for the sun to come up so they could bask. I have seen similar behavior in Cozumel and Florida by Green Iguanas and Black Iguanas.
There are at least 20 visible but there are clearly more that can't be seen in silhouette.
This in a one block swamp area surrounded on all sides by industrial park. I shot this from the shoulder of a very busy highway with lots of truck traffic.
