Notes

This animal was found by Bill Love basking a portion of its body in the sun while the remainder stayed inside of a rock pile on the edge of a dry desert wash. It was in poor shape. Very emaciated. Able to see and feel spine. The snake took water from within a water bottle when head of snake was pointed at bottle opening. Drank A LOT of the water. If we had some F/T mice it probably would have eaten too.
